QR code menu for restaurants

A QR code menu is your menu on the guest's own phone. They scan the code on the table and the menu opens in the browser, with photos and prices. Nothing to install, nothing to print again when a price changes.

How guests use it

  1. The guest points the phone camera at the QR on the table card. Android and iPhone cameras read QR codes by themselves.
  2. Your menu opens in the browser: categories, dish photos, Half / Full prices, veg and non-veg marks.
  3. They tap a dish to see the photo full screen, search, or filter veg only. Then they order from your staff as usual.

What a good QR menu should have

  • Real dish photos. Guests order what they can see; a photo sells a special better than a line of text.
  • Sizes and prices that are easy to read, such as Half and Full, Regular and Large.
  • Veg / non-veg marks and a veg filter, which matter to many guests in India.
  • Today's offer at the top, removed by itself when the offer ends.
  • Call, WhatsApp and directions buttons, plus your Google review and Instagram links.
  • Your own look: logo, colours and fonts, so it feels like your restaurant and not a template.

Why restaurants switch

  • No reprinting: change a price or mark a dish sold out from your phone and every table sees it at once.
  • Cleaner tables: no paper menus passed from hand to hand.
  • More Google reviews: a review button right in the menu, when the guest is happiest.
  • The QR never changes: print it once on good card, and it always opens your latest menu.

Setting it up

  1. Get your panel and your own address (yourname.qrmenuq.online).
  2. Add categories and dishes with photos and prices; we can help with the first menu.
  3. Download the QR table card in your colours and print one for each table.

Questions

Do guests need an app to open a QR menu?

No. The phone camera reads the code and the menu opens in the browser.

Can a QR menu take orders?

QRMenuQ is a menu, not an ordering system. Your staff keep taking orders as before.

What happens to the QR when I change the menu?

Nothing: the same QR always opens the latest menu.
